Designer Angela Simek of Pelham Home Design brings a bold, refreshing and unique perspective thanks to her formal training and Southern upbringing. With a Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University, extensive coursework in the School of Architecture, academic work in architectural design in Vicenza, Italy, extensive travels throughout Europe and Egypt, and a lifelong interest in Native American traditions and material culture, Angela draws from her diverse experiences and education to express her passion in design.

Utilizing a mixture of function and style, a seamless fusion of classical and contemporary motifs, and a discerning use of space, light, color and texture, she cleverly achieves harmony through her rich designs while never losing sight of her client’s needs, wishes and dreams. Her rigorous attention to detail and sense of responsibility allow her to have caring and trusting relationships with her clients. Angela also keeps the number of her active projects relatively low, thus ensuring her commitment and involvement through completion.

Presently, her work can be found in Lubbock and Dallas, and she was recently showcased in the 2013 Tech Terrace Holiday Home Tour.
